Love, Acceptance, Approval, Affection, and Attention

We all do it.

We get attached to getting love, acceptance, approval, affection or attention. In getting attached, we start to do some unnatural gymnastics that compromises our presence & our principles.

Next time you catch yourself doing it, or catch an odd look on the face of those around you, check inside and see if there’s any truth to it.

Consider this predictive statement that most people seem to relate to: “You have a need for other people to like and admire you, and yet you tend to be critical of yourself.”

I wrote about this statement in an earlier blog posting – Amazingly Accurate Personality Evaluation. Try it Yourself. If you buy this general statement about you, it’s might be good to see what part of your real self you don’t want to reveal to the world.
